OUR WORK
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) continues to advance innovative payment and service delivery models to help move our health care system from one that pays for volume to one that rewards providers for keeping patients healthy, improving health outcomes and lowering costs.
The Hospital Price Transparency Management System (HPT-MS) solution enables cost transparency for medical services and products for the American public. Softrams worked with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services users to deliver this solution to help them investigate and review hospital compliance cases.
The shift from a paper-based collection system to a user-focused digital platform that supports application submission, communication, revision, and inter-team collaboration has been hugely successful and met with incredible gratification by all users. The serverless architecture has led to further cost savings, enhanced security, and simpler packaging and deployment.
The Innovative Design, Development, and Operations Contract (IDDOC) is a two-part system encompassing data submitted by healthcare providers into the front-end 4Innovation (4i) platform and processed by the Accountable Care Organization Operation System (ACO-OS) where data is stored.
The Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) Bidding System (DBidS) is an enhanced web-based application designed to manage the activities of the Medicare competitive bidding program. The modernized system helps CMS enforce standard quality for DMEPOS suppliers, in compliance with Section 302 of the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003 (MMA).
HPMS is a web-enabled information system that serves a critical operational role in facilitating data collection and reporting, on-going operations, strategic planning, and analysis. Our partnership led to the successful migration of the HPMS system to the cloud as we continue incremental modernization of its platform.
